The Resource Centre was established in 1995 and in the last ten years its services and activities have been accessed more than 500,000 times!

The success of the centre has been acknowledged by Government Office for Yorkshire & Humber and has featured in two books commissioned by Yorkshire Forward. 'Theories at the Bottom of Our Jargon' takes a look at the people stories behind SRBI and 'Pride of Place' features eight projects from across the regions that make up an ideal village. All of
these projects were selected because of their good practices and involvement with their communities.
We believe we can offer something for everyone from the very, very young to 90 years and beyond!
Please take a look around.
